| Hazırlıklarımız aylarca sürdü. Yapılan tüm TCSWAT faaliyetlerini anlatan
bir broşür, ILOTA faaliyetlerinin her biri için birer afiş, banner'lar,
sticker'lar, patch'ler, magnet'ler derken, grafik sanatçımız Ayşe Uzun'a
epeyce bir iş çıkardık. |
Our preperations took months. With a brochure giving information about all of our activities,
a poster for each and everyone one of our ILOTA activities, banners, stickers, patches, magnets,
etc., we created a lot of work for our graphic artist, Ayşe Uzun |

| TCSWAT olarak daha önce TRAC-DL 'dan Sn. Ahmet ÇOBAN ile yapılan yazışmalarda
mutabık kalınan şekilde 25 Haziran 2009 Perşembe günü Istanbul'dan uçakla
Münih'e oradan da trenle, uzun ve yorucu bir yolculuğun ardından Friedrichshafen'a
ulaştık. |
Following the agreement we have reached with TRAC-DL, through our communication
with Mr. Ahmet ÇOBAN, we flew to Munich from Istanbul, on 25th June 2009, and took
trains to reach Friedrichshafen, after a long and tiring journey. |

| Fuar alanına intikal ettiğimizde Sn. Ahmet ÇOBAN (TA4AC) ve Sn. Muzaffer
AYGÜN (TA3BJ) eşleri ile bizi karşıladılar. Standın olduğu bölümde posterleri
stand duvarlarına yapıştırmaya başladık. Stand alanı 7.5m x 3m lik bir bölümden
oluşuyordu. TRAC-DL büyük bir incelik göstererek stand duvarlarının neredeyse
tamamını bizim posterleri asmamız için boş bırakmıştı. Yol yorgunluğu ve
son 4-5 günün hızlı aktiviteleri nedeniyle ayakta uyuduğumuzdan sağolsun
Muzaffer Bey bizi otele bırakmayı teklif ettiğnde hiç itiraz etmedik. Hızlıca
yenen kısa bir akşam yemeğinin ardından saat 20 itibari ile her iki istasyon
da horizantal polarizasyonda yüksek güçte QRM yapar vaziyette idi. |
When we reached the fair ground, we were greeted with Mr Ahmet ÇOBAN (TA4AC),
Mr Muzaffer AYGÜN (TA3BJ) and their wives. We proceeded to affix our posters
straight away. The stand area was 7.5m x 3m. TRAC-DL was very kind to leave
almost all of the stand walls to us to affix our posters. We showed
no objection to TA3BJ Muzaffer when he offered to give us a lift to our hotel,
since we were about to sleep on foot, due to the fatigue of our long journey
and our fast paced preparation activities during the last 4 or 5 days. After
having a quick bite to eat, both stations went into horizontal polarization at
8:00 p.m., creating heavy QRM. |

| Cuma günü sabah erken saatte 27 kg luk QSL bavulu+15 kg broşür-magnet-sticker
vs. promosyon çantası ile Fuar alanına intikal ettik. Standdaki masada
son düzenlemeleri TRAC-DL ile birlikte tamamlayıp misafir kabulüne
başladık. Günün ilk sürprizi daha önce yapmış olduğumuz QSO da fuara büyük
olasılıkla gelemeyeceğini belirten 9A2AA Tomislav'ın karşımızda belirmesi
idi. Tüm TC aktivitelerinin en hızlı takipçisi olan dostumuza daha önce
hazırlamış olduğumuz plaketi oradaki en kıdemli TA amatörü olarak Sn Ahmet
Çoban TA4AC takdim etti. Biz de ILOTA Golden Award No.1'i kendisine sunduk.
Tomislav'ın oldukça şaşırdığını ve sevindiğini belirtmemiz gereksiz. |
On Friday the 26th, we reached the fair ground, with a 27 kg suitcase, full of QSL
cards, plus 15 kg of brochures, magnets, stickers, etc. promotion materials
to be distributed at the stand. After the final arrangements of the table, together
with TRAC-DL, we started accepting visitors to our stand. The first surprise
of the day was to see 9A2AA Tomislav, who had told us during our QSOs,
that he probably would not be able to make it to the fair. Since he is the
strongest supporter of all of our TC Special Event Activities, we had a plaquet
prepared to honour his contributions. We had planned to send it to him via the
bureau. Finding him before us, we asked TA4AC Ahmet, as the oldest TA amateur in
our stand, to present the plaquet to him. We had the honour to present him the
ILOTA Golden Award, No. 1. Needles to say, Tomislav was very surprised and happy. |

| Standımızı ziyaret edenler arasında olan OH2HAN ILOTA Golden Awardını
teslim alırken DD9NT da bronz awardını aldı. Bu arada teknik bazı sorunlar
nedeniyle Cuma günü standa getirdiğimiz filmin gösterimini gerçekleştirememize
karşın oldukça yoğun ziyaretçi akını oldu. JA8BMK Toshi-San bu arada standımızı
ziyaret edenler arasındaydı. |
Of those who have visited our stand, OH2HAN was presented his ILOTA Golden
Award, and DD9NT was presented his ILOTA Bronz Award. Meanwhile, our stand received
a heavy flow of visitors, despite the fact that we could not show, due to technical
difficulties, the film we were expecting to present at our stand. JA8BMK, Toshi-San
was among our visitors, on Friday. |

| Standımıza gösterilen yoğun ilginin yanısıra, fuara ziyaret amaçlı
da olsa gelen bizim dışımızdaki tek TA amatörleri TA1L ve TA1R'yu ağırlamaktan
keyif duyduk. |
Besides the great interest shown to our stand, we were happy to host the
only other TA amateurs, TA2R and TA1L, who had visited our stand. |
